Join Us at RE:WIRED on September 28th

This week we announced the agenda for RE:WIRED Green, a one-day, in-person event at San Francisco's SFJAZZ Center that will spotlight ways human ingenuity can help secure our future. The speakers, panels, demonstrations, and experiences are designed to get you thinking about how we can collectively tackle climate change and what you can do to contribute. We would love for you to join us on September 28!

Below are just a few of the highlights from this year's agenda:

Avoiding the Worst-Case Scenario

The planet has experienced five mass extinctions. The most recent, 65 million years ago, wiped out the dinosaurs. All signs now point to a sixth. Our experts will dive into the history of life and death on Earth, explore the magnificent power of humanity's connection to this planet, and draw lessons about what can be done to address the climate crisis.

The Future of Food

Agricultural fertilizer is a top source of greenhouse gases, and cows produce 40 percent of the world's methane. Climate change is already affecting crop yields. Our experts discuss all things food and how to ensure there's enough for everyone.

Beyond Technology

Technology on its own isn't a solution to the climate crisis, but coupled with the right policies and incentives, it can make a positive difference. Our experts look at some of the systemic changes we need.

We have compelling conversations with experts like Ertharin Cousin, CEO of Food Systems for the Future, who will outline a few of the solutions people are working on today; Alan Ahn, a senior resident fellow for climate and energy at Third Way, explaining why the world might need to take the nuclear option; and Michèle Koppes, a professor of glaciology, on how to listen to what these dramatic bodies of ice are telling us. Learn more about the schedule and speakers here.

Join us on September 28 in San Francisco. There's no problem more in need of solutions, and RE:WIRED Green is the place to find them. To take advantage of early-bird pricing, buy your tickets before September 16, 2022.
