Fans have been clamouring for a new entry in the beloved The Simpsons Hit & Run for quite some time now and at a D23 panel this week Simpsons creator Matt Groening may have announced that something new is happening with the franchise ahead of time. There have been rumours that something is happening with the series in some form, so we will have to wait and see what happens.
Asked if there’ll be another The Simpsons: Hit & Run game, Matt Groening says: “I think the original game is coming back in some form…”
“…or not,” says current showrunner Matt Selman. Sounds like there may be some news coming that wasn’t supposed to be announced yet…
