The Kingdom Hearts franchise will be busy celebrating its 25th anniversary in 2027 with the release of Kingdom Hearts 4 and it seems as though Disney has a lot of things it wants to do with the series. We already know a Kingdom Hearts animated series is in the works, but in a recent interview Disney’s director of games, Nana Gadd, said the following about the company’s plans:
“Even though Kingdom Hearts has been around for 25 years, there are so many things we want to do,” says Gadd. “The announcement of the animated series is truly just the first step.”
