Monolith Soft has deployed a new update for the excellent Xenoblade Chronicles 2 bringing the JRPG to Version 3.0.1. This update focuses on eliminating bugs that transpired due to the recently released Nintendo Switch 2 version of the action-packed game. You can read the full patch notes down below.

Fixed an issue where, when receiving WP as an amiibo reward while playing New Game Plus with accessory slots increased to three slots, accessory slots would reduce to two slots.
Note: If you re-unlocked the extra accessory slot after this bug occurred, then the items expended to unlock the extra slot will be returned.
Fixed an issue where the background music and sound effects balance differed from the Nintendo Switch version.
Fixed an issue when a Driver joins the party where the Driver will sometimes join with an exorbitant amount of WP.
Fixed an issue in which Rex sometimes becomes uncontrollable when switching from Pyra to Mythra during combat.
Fixed an issue in which Pouch Item effects did not activate during combat after swapping MOMO to a form other than the one she was in at combat start.
