Pokemon continues to be a massive IP and its merchandise and especially its trading cards are hot property these days. Scalpers have been buying up all the Pokemon branded items to resell at higher price points on online marketplaces, but one North American retailer is trying to fight back. Target now seems to be limiting Pokemon merchandise and TCG cards to one per person to stop the bulk buying and reselling. Hopefully other retailers start following suit to put an end to the scalping of Pokemon products. |
