Capcom is apparently ready to share more information on the eagerly awaited Resident Evil Veronica at Gamescom which kicks off in August. Gamescom usually has an Opening Night Live event hosted by Geoff Keighley, so we might get a new trailer to spice proceedings up. ReNews says it has heard that Resident Evil Veronica is fully expected to be at the event where we will “be able to expect new information, a new trailer, and more surprises.” Here’s what they said:
“New Resident Evil Veronica information will be revealed at Gamescom 2026. Capcom has officially revealed its Gamescom 2026 lineup, and many fans quickly noticed that Resident Evil Veronica wasn’t included, leading to concerns that the game might skip the event altogether.
According to what we’ve heard, Resident Evil Veronica is still expected to appear during Gamescom 2026. Fans may be able to expect new information, a new trailer, and more surprises that we’ll be able to talk about closer to the event.
