Final Fantasy Resonance was revealed during the Nintendo Direct and looks absolutely fabulous but if you purchase the game on the Nintendo Switch and later decide to upgrade to the Nintendo Switch 2 version you will be out of luck. There’s no upgrade path from Nintendo Switch to Nintendo Switch 2 and most importantly your saved data for the Nintendo Switch version won’t transfer over if you purchase Final Fantasy Resonance for Nintendo Switch 2. This seems to be a reoccurring thing with Square Enix releases and hopefully it eventually gets sorted. |
