Investors are not happy with Kadokawa, the parent company of FromSoft, namely its CEO Takeshi Natsuno. The reason they aren’t happy is the investors believe that the company didn’t fully capitalise on the success of Elden Ring. They believe that Takeshi Natsuno should have self-published the game rather than relying on Bandai Namco for publishing. Bandai Namco naturally took a large slice of the money due to them publishing copies of the successful FromSoft game. This all stems from the Oasis group of investors who are Kadokawa’s largest shareholder with a hefty 13.76% stake. |
