Grubb claims that the new Pokemon games which will be showcased, including Pokémon Legends Z-A, were developed for the original Switch, rather than its soon-to-be-announced successor, the Nintendo Switch 2. The new Pokemon games will obviously work on the next console, but they have been created from the ground up for the original Nintendo Switch system. Once we hear of a firm date for the next Pokemon Presents presentation we will let you know. "I did hear that everything in that Pokémon Direct will be positioned as 'These games are Switch 1 games'. They will work on Switch 2, but there will not be anything that is obviously made for Switch 2." Source / Via | | | |
