Moon Studios is the talented team behind the charming 2D platformer Ori and the Blind Forest and its sequel Ori and the Will of the Wisps, both of which are available on the Nintendo Switch. Pure Xbox managed to chat with the company's CEO, Thomas Mahler, to ask a range of questions and of course talk turned to Banjo-Kazooie. When asked, Mahler expressed his disappointment at Microsoft sitting on the prestigious IP and he believes that if it was done right the game could even "rival 3D Mario and probably sell similar numbers."

"They have been sitting on Banjo Kazooie with nothing happening there even though a really talented developer could probably make a Banjo game that could rival 3D Mario and probably sell similar numbers."
