The rumors for the Switch 2 have decreased by a lot since Nintendo finally revealed the console last week. However, that doesn't mean that the rumors have stopped completely. The hardware may be revealed, but there's still some aspects of the Switch 2, such as the specs, that Nintendo hasn't discussed and have been holding off until April's Switch 2 Direct. There's also the fact that the only Switch 2 game that Nintendo has confirmed so far is a new Mario Kart.
So, it isn't really surprising that rumors are still trying to fill in the few gaps that Nintendo has left in regards to the Switch 2. This time though, it comes from a retailer named Newegg. On their site, you can find a listing for an eShop gift card. The gift card mentions the new Mario Kart game that Nintendo announced, but for some reason, they also mentioned a "3D Mario" and a "Legend of Zelda remake/remaster".
As of this article's writing, they have removed both of those unannounced games, as well as the new Mario Kart, from the listing. Despite the brief time it was visible, fans and the gaming media still noticed it and it has only fueled more speculation on what Nintendo has planned for the Switch 2's launch year. Like usual, this isn't straight from Nintendo, so keep things with an open mind.
