It has been a concerning time for PlatinumGames. Despite the studio celebrating Bayonetta's 15th anniversary this year, PlatinumGames has been plagued with worries that the studio is losing a lot of its high-profile veteran developers. Hideki Kamiya left the team in October of 2023, and recent rumors have suggested that he is far from the only one to do so.

We're still waiting to see if everyone that is rumored to have left has, indeed, left. But one of them has been recently confirmed to have done so. Abebe Tinari, former Platinum game designer and director of Bayonetta Origins: Cereza and the Lost Demon, has updated his Linkedin profile. As of last month, he is now working for Housemarque, one of PlayStation's studios.
