Read on blog or Reader My Nintendo News Splatoon 3 updating to Version 11.3.0 tomorrow (patch notes) By nintendojam on August 19, 2026 An update for Splatoon 3 has been scheduled for tomorrow, 19th August, pushing the colourful third-person ink shooter to Version 11.3.0. This latest update applies to both Nintendo Switch and Switch 2, adding the previously announced Plastic-Bottle Shot Replica rewarded to those who have a Splatoon Raiders save file after completing the main story. The update also improves multiplayer balance, including numerous weapon adjustments, and fixes a minor bug involving movement with the Squid Surge. The full patch notes can be found below. Latest update: Ver. 11.3.0 (Releasing August 19, 2026) All changes apply to both Nintendo Switch 2 and Nintendo Switch. Changes to Multiplayer A new weapon, the Plastic-Bottle Shot Replica, has been added. It has the same weapon specifications as the Tentatek Splattershot. You can receive it from the lobby terminal if you have save data on the same system as the Nintendo Switch 2 software Splatoon Raiders, where the main story has been cleared. In order to receive it, you must start Splatoon 3 using the same user profile as the user for the Splatoon Raiders save data. Specifications for some main weapons have changed. Specifications for some special weapons have changed. Points required for some special weapons have been changed. This update adds a weapon related to Splatoon Raiders and also includes changes to multiplayer balance. For certain main weapons, we have made it more difficult to safely keep Splat Zones inked or maintain constant pressure on opponents. As for the other main weapons, we have made changes with the goal of enhancing their unique characteristics or improving ease of use. The next update will focus on changes to multiplayer balance. Bug Fixes Fixed an issue where performing certain actions immediately after jumping off a wall using Squid Surge allowed for greater horizontal movement than intended.
