However, in the trailer broadcast yesterday there are slots for an additional eight free post launch characters. All bets are on regarding which characters will fill these slots. As discovered by Diolass on Bluesky, when playing the game on Switch 2 you can do the "Squid Roll" move on any surface, no longer being restricted to the your own team's ink colour. This creates for an unfair competitive advantage, so hopefully Nintendo provides a patch via an update in the near future. [Splatoon 3] It seems like there is a bug on the Switch 2 where you can do a Squid Roll off any surface, regardless if it is inked in your colour.
