It wasn't known exactly what time, but there was a lot of speculation that they would be releasing the DLC during The Game Awards 2024. Well, that is exactly what they did. The Sonic X Shadow Generations DLC is available on multiple platforms, including the Nintendo Switch, right now. The release was confirmed right as The Game Awards started.
