(Developer Nightdive Studios has shared that the European version on the Switch has been delayed but will be available before the end of the year.) A remaster of The Thing, a 2002 survival horror shooter based of the classic 1982 John Carpenter film of the same name, it makes some graphical improvements and gameplay enhancements while keeping the core identity of the original game intact. Nintendo's stock price has risen by more than 1,000 yen, which will have pleased investors. The 1% reduction has apparently brought a sense of stability to the market. There are other driving forces to the increase to the share price, namely the potential for a reveal date for the Switch's successor, which is expected to be announced before the end of March 2025.
