Third-party companies are also very interested to see what Nintendo has planned for their next hardware. That includes companies such as Take-Two, who have released games on multiple platforms, including the Nintendo Switch. You see, Take-Two CEO Strauss Zelnick was asked about Nintendo's next console. In particular, he was asked about the recent news about the console having backwards compatibility. In response, Zelnick said that "you're always competing with everything, and you're competing with yourself. Also, backward compatibility is good for our catalogue, and we think we have the highest selling catalogue per SKU in the business".
