It seems that this has proven to be more difficult than Barone expected, as he hasn't been able to leave Stardew Valley alone. Because of this, we have been treated to the excellent Stardew Valley 1.6.9 update which launched earlier this week. In a new interview Barone confessed that he could work on Stardew for the rest of his life, as there's always something he is thinking about adding or improving to the game. Here's what he had to say: So, if you work on something for seven years, you're going to be burned out, right? But you keep coming back to the game. You're even working on this new game, but you keep adding new stuff [to Stardew Valley]. That's true. I have so many ideas for Stardew. I feel like I could work on it for the rest of my life, and just keep improving it, adding more stuff to it, more content, fleshing out the existing content. That's the main thing I want to do is flesh out the existing content. And okay, here's another thing: It's so popular. Source / Via | | | |
