Michel Ancel has taken to social media to discuss a few things mainly criticising the media and internet personas regarding the heavily published report on his departure at Ubisoft which was apparently due to toxic leadership. Ancel also briefly discussed the new Rayman project at Ubisoft for which he has acted as a consultant and says that he's super happy that Rayman is coming back. He also discussed Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown which didn't meet Ubisoft's sales expectations and the team has now been disbanded and have been put on other project at the video game developer.
"Regarding Rayman, I'm very happy to have been consulted and it's a real pleasure to know that he and his pals are back!"
"For the Lost Crown POP team, let's hope they can reform and produce a well-deserved sequel. Ubisoft [sic] to realise that the success of such a project is associated with the birth of a strong collective. This is priceless. Maybe some day leaders will understand this!"
Ancel signed off by saying he was now "returning to my personal projects and 'little zoos'" - an apparently reference to how his current work with wildlife was described in "article filled with contempt".
