Sanzaru Games, the developer behind Sonic Boom: Shattered Crystal on Nintendo 3DS and Sonic Boom: Fire & Ice on Nintendo 3DS, has now been shut down by Facebook, Instagram and WhatsApp company, Meta. The team at Sanzaru Games, were working on VR games for Meta and joined Armature Studio and Twisted Pixel, who were also unfortunately shuttered. The big tech company said the following:
"We said last month that we were shifting some of our investment from Metaverse toward Wearables. This is part of that effort, and we plan to reinvest the savings to support the growth of wearables this year."
