| Despite Ubisoft announcing yesterday that it has cancelled six games which includes the long-awaited Prince of Persia: Sands of Time Remake and closing studios and laying off employees, news has emerged today that Beyond Good & Evil 2 has walked away relatively unscathed. Beyond Good & Evil 2 was first revealed in May 2008 and the current version of the game has been in development since around 2017. Insider Gaming reports that its sources say that "constant changes, pushbacks, and the lengthy development time have likely cost Ubisoft $500+ million in development costs." |
