The console market was worth 418.13 billion yen in 2025. However, it should be noted that revenue from digital sales, DLC etc was not accounted for, so the actual market size is likely larger. Automaton reports that Japanese hardware sales were up 149.3% year-on-year, while physical software sales grew by 121.0% compared to 2024. |
