When he was still with Nintendo, he was there to help present announcements the company had to share. When he retired, he would become a presenter at the show. Reggie reacted to the news of The Game Awards 2024 breaking viewership records, commenting that the show is "the biggest global entertainment event of our time, now shockingly bigger than NFL's Super Bowl". While the show, indeed, is rivaling the Super Bowl with viewership, it isn't actually the biggest global entertainment.
