Good morning, In 2015, Drawbridge was the fastest-growing woman-led company in America, landing at No. 6 on the Inc. 5000 list. Four years later, LinkedIn acquired the San Mateo, California-based data-connectivity firm for an estimated $300 million. Founder Kamakshi Sivaramakrishnan was working on the deal two days before giving birth to her first child. “When I went into labor, I was on the delivery table and got news that everything seemed in order,” Sivaramakrishnan tells Inc. “The nurse said, ‘Put your phone down. Let's get going!’ I will remember this with so much delight.” Sivaramakrishnan, whose daughter is now two years old, says the business is thriving.
