Get ready to part with some money from your wallet as a new Spring Sale has started on the Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2 eShop. It seems to be mainly third party games which are on sale and some highlights include Monster Hunter Stories Deluxe Collection, Yooka-Replaylee, which has just had a Performance Mode added and Sonic x Shadow Generations. PlayTonic has finally done it and have gotten Yooka-Replaylee running at 60fps on Nintendo Switch 2, but only when you play the game in the newly added Performance Mode in settings. There’s now Fidelity Mode which is basically like playing the original Nintendo Switch 2 version and the newly added Performance Mode which whacks the framerate to 60fps, but the visuals take a hit to compensate for the higher framerate. The game doesn’t appear to use DLSS to enhance the visual quality.
