We have been getting daily data about how The Super Mario Galaxy Movie is performing at cinemas and so it will come as no surprise to some of you that the beautifully animated movie is currently the biggest box office opening of the year so far. The runner up is currently the film adaptation of Project Hail Mary. The Hollywood Reporter says that the latest Mario movie is aiming for a $372.5 million total internationally. The original Super Mario Bros. Movie was the second-highest-grossing release of 2023 with $1.3 billion worldwide. |
