It has been confirmed that The Super Mario Galaxy Movie has now made over $800 million at cinemas worldwide, which is certainly a big achievement for both Nintendo and Illumination. The wonderfully animated movie finally launched in Japan this weekend where it made $11 million making it the best opening of the year for an American movie in Japan.
