Square Enix has held a PAX West panel called From Reunion to Resolve and revealed that their main ambition with the Final Fantasy VII Remake trilogy is to “expand FF7’s future” and “move beyond being a classic of the past and shape it into an IP with an ever-evolving future.” From the sounds of it the company hopes to capitalise on the success of the PlayStation original for a long time to come. We have had a number of spin-off games from VII and it sounds like more are likely to come. |
