When the 9th anniversary for Nier Automata came and went we were treated to a “to be continued…” message. In a recent interview with Famitsu the outspoken Yoko Taro said “My guess is that I think the message is something like, “We’re still going to milk it, we’re going to make money.” Let’s hope something substantial is planned for the Nier franchise going forward. Yosuke Saito: I was the one who asked them to include that. I don’t know if there is a continuation or not, but I felt that “to be continued…” was absolutely necessary for the 9th-anniversary video.
