| Just one day after The Pokémon Company had to issue a statement about the White House using their intellectual property without permission, Nintendo is now taking things a step further by suing the U.S. government. The reason for the newly filed lawsuit is not IP theft however, but rather citing an unlawful imposition of tariffs. Due to the company's use of overseas manufacturing and the release timing of Switch 2, Nintendo was severely impacted by the tariffs put in place with executive orders issued by the Trump Administration, and are suing to get the tariffs that have been collected "refunded with interest." |
