Japanese video game retailers have started the process of slashing the price of Metroid Prime 4: Beyond on Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2, similar to what has happened here in the UK a month or so ago. The long-awaited game presumably isn't selling as well as Nintendo had hoped, hence the reduction in price. Reviews for the game were mixed with many finding the open world areas relatively empty. Metroid Prime 4: Beyond has a critic score of 78 and a user score of 7.8.
