Crimson Desert had a lot of hype surrounding it ahead of launch but the finished product received mixed feedback from reviewers and consumers. However, Pearl Abyss CEO Heo Jin-Young, has informed investors that they have begun testing to see whether they can get the large-scale open world game up and running on the Nintendo Switch 2, saying that they have started research and development (R&D) on it.
Regarding support for Nintendo's console "Switch 2," they said, "Since the Switch still has lower specifications compared to other consoles, there are aspects we have to give up on, but internally we have begun taking an interest and started research and development (R&D)."
