| To celebrate the news that new Super Mario-themed LEGO sets are coming in 2027 The LEGO Group and Nintendo have finally unveiled a LEGO Mario minifigure which has taken a whopping seven years to appear. Mario will be accompanied with new LEGO play sets which Kotaku doesn't believe will be connected to the impressive electronic Mario playsets of the last few years. Let's just hope we eventually get more Mario characters, which are actual minifigures, which is what a large number of the player base wanted from the get go.
