| All eyes will be on the third instalment of Final Fantasy VII Remake later this year when it's expected to be fully unveiled. Bloomberg has chatted with Final Fantasy VII Remake director Naoki Hamaguchi who assured the publication that the team "already has the foundation of the gameplay in place" and is fine-tuning and polishing the game in preparation for its release. One of the reasons that Hamaguchi thinks has contributed to the two games success is high staff retention, which he says is also the case for the third entry. "I think the number is closer to 95% of the Rebirth staff that stayed on for the third project," giving continuity and expertise to the trilogy.
