Nintendo has issued a software update for both The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild and The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. The update for The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom brings the acclaimed adventure to Version 1.4.3 and fixes an issue with the Black Hinox in Hyrule Castle, which meant that you couldn't obtain the Hinox Monster Medal. The Kyoto-based company has also addressed several undisclosed issues to make the experience just that bit better.
Latest update: Ver. 1.4.3 (Released February 17, 2026)

Fixed an issue causing the Black Hinox in Hyrule Castle to appear as undefeated even after being defeated, preventing players from obtaining the Hinox Monster Medal. By downloading the update data, players will be able to obtain the Hinox Monster Medal.
Several other issues have been addressed to improve the gameplay experience.
