We’re doing something new here at Inc. This week, Inc. launched “All the Hats,” a platform to showcase the trials, triumphs, tips, tricks, thoughts, and, of course, very busy days of Black women entrepreneurs. Black women make up the fastest-growing segment of entrepreneurs in the United States despite a set of challenges few other demographics face, from structural racism to funding constraints. It is not an easy journey, but successful founders like Phyllis Newhouse, Stacey Abrams, Fawn Weaver, Charis Jones, Nashlie Sephus, Bea Dixon, and Kim Lewis, among many others, prove it’s certainly one worth taking.
