Burnout is not the main reason people are leaving their jobs in record numbers. According to a new report from global education tech firm Cengage Group, while burnout ranked highly, it trailed employees’ desire to make more money. Also not far behind: feeling a lack of growth in a current position, shifting priorities thanks to the pandemic, and wishing to follow a new career path entirely.
