The average American disposes of about 200 pounds of plastic per year. Sarah Paiji Yoo wants to drive down that number.

To her horror, she discovered that even bottled water contained microplastics, the tiny particles from plastic waste that are contaminating the Earth's water supply. Her solution: Launch Blueland, a 10-year-old New York City-based startup that sells dissolvable, zero-waste household cleaning tablets.
Sometimes family recipes or beauty regimens passed down from generation to generation need an upgrade. Join Inc. for a conversation with entrepreneurs who saw a direct need in the marketplace and are using their cultural backgrounds as inspiration to make change and create brands people love.
Starting tomorrow, Inc. This Morning is changing authors! Before I go, I’d like to say: Thank you for reading. Your feedback over the past almost-two years has been invaluable. Going forward, you’ll be in the very capable hands of assistant editor (and newsletter pro) Sophie Downes.
