The team has talked a little more about the setting for Castlevania: Belmont‘s Curse, which as a French studio, they were proud to announce that the 2D game will be set in Paris, France. Here’s some of what they say to expect from the location: “Being a French team, we were arrogant enough to set the game in France,” Evil Empire’s marketing manager Matt Houghton explains, and being a game set in Paris, you’ll be scaling Notre Dame, exploring the catacombs, and doing battle with a corrupted version of Joan of Arc, because France. My Nintendo News Read on blog or Reader Splatoon Raiders rated by PEGI, suggests imminent release By nintendojam on April 11, 2026 Nintendo has updated the official EU eShop listing for Splatoon Raiders, adding a “PEGI 7” age rating classification to the upcoming Switch 2 exclusive. As spotted by a Splatoon superfan on Twitter/X, and then independently confirmed by us using the Wayback Machine, the webpage only displayed a “TBD” rating as recently as 1st April, confirming that this is a very recent change. Although PEGI has not added the game to their own website yet, Nintendo has indeed added it to theirs. Unless it’s some kind of technical error, this means we should be receiving more information about the game very soon, as age ratings only happen when development is nearing completion. When the upcoming Splatoon spin-off was first announced last Summer, you may remember there was speculation that the game was already rated by ESRB/PEGI, suggesting an imminent release. However, that one was a false alarm, as the rating spotted turned out to be intended for Splatoon 3, which was featured in the same trailer as the Splatoon Raiders reveal.
