We have known since before launch that Nintendo had only sent development kits out to select partners and that their availability was fairly scarce. Thankfully, known leaker NateTheHate, says that the situation has now largely been resolved meaning that third party developers who wanted development kits should now have them or be receiving them soon. Talking about the report that Call of Duty is coming to the Nintendo Switch 2 he said that "the dev kit delivery situation has largely been resolved."

"In the case of COD... it doesn't mean they got a devkit super late, either. Just late enough that they couldn't get the work done to launch the game sooner. The devkit delivery situation has largely been resolved."
