The game is set to include Open Neighborhoods, larger crowd density and improved visual clarity over its predecessor and has yet to be officially announced by EA. The current The Sims 4 will eventually retire as the game engine is too old and too messy, so EA naturally wants to rebuild the base game along with the numerous downloadable content which is available.
