Splatoon Raiders has received a lot of praise from critics (including us) and Splatoon fans worldwide when it launched for Nintendo Switch 2 last month. While complaints about the game were few and far between, there was a bit of buzz on social media with some players confused on how to use a certain mechanic, falsely believing they were being soft locked, when the solution was quite simple. For those who don’t know, at the Hideout Ship, there’s an area to upgrade your Tanks, and after earning enough skill points, you’re able to release your tank limiter, allowing you to enable more upgrades. Releasing the tank limiter required holding down the A button for a short time, but since players weren’t explicitly told that they need to hold it down, some thought simply pressing the A button would suffice, which resulted in nothing happening. |
