Video game journalist and podcaster Jeff Grub says that he’s been hearing that Nintendo will be holding a Nintendo Direct presentation by mid-June. Nintendo traditionally holds a presentation in June to showcase its upcoming lineup, the same as Sony and Microsoft. This year Xbox is the only announced showcase at present and we’ve got Summer Game Fest kicking off on Friday, 5th June.

Nintendo has released the opening cinematic for all to see and it’s a wonderfully animated affair with Bowser Jr and the discovery of the all-important Mysterious Book.
