In defense of the future

WIRED's year-long celebration of our 30th-anniversary rolls on. If you haven't had the opportunity to read some of the features we've published to celebrate, I encourage you to visit our WIRED 30th-anniversary site and check them out. The theme of our celebration is "In Defense of the Future," highlighting the thinkers, activists, and builders working to solve the most pressing problems facing humanity.

From how artificial intelligence can transform industries to climate solutions that can save ecosystems, from emerging medicines to save lives to the future of global democracy, our celebration will tell the stories that give us hope for tomorrow, and hopefully redouble our efforts to build that tomorrow today.
