Capcom has published a celebratory message on X as their intriguing Pragmata video game has now gone gold meaning that it is finished and ready to ship out to retailers. It is a big milestone for the Japanese company and while development has finished on the title they will presumably be busy releasing post launch updates to fix any accidental bugs that have been discovered. UK journalist and sales data specialist Christopher Dring has revealed a little more about Resident Evil Requiem sales on the Nintendo Switch 2 console in select markets in Europe. Dring reports from the data that he has seen that only 5% of sales of Capcom's epic horror title were on Nintendo's latest platform. Dring admits it's not a big figure, but the game proved to be popular so it "can still be significant and profitable."
Resident Evil: Requiem is a more telling product, as it launched on Switch 2 simultaneously with other platforms. Looking at select European markets, we can see that roughly 5% of Requiem's sales came on Nintendo Switch 2. It's not a big figure, but 5% of a high selling product can still be significant and profitable.
