Good morning, It’s been eleven months since businesses in the U.S. began sending workers home due to the Covid-19 pandemic. People are tired. Many of those fortunate enough to keep their jobs are becoming disengaged as pandemic fatigue sets in. To stave off burnout, leaders and companies around the country have some solutions. Orlando-based Mid Florida Material Handling, for instance, holds parking lot picnics. The socially distanced events have helped ease stress and given employees a way of interacting outside of Zoom and Slack. Others have hosted virtual dueling pianos and magic shows. And, of course, a little extra cash never hurts as a way of showing your employees how much you appreciate them.
