Millions of people across the United States and Mexico are traveling to see the 2024 solar eclipse today in what's called the "path of totality." This is the slender area where the moon will completely block the sun's light for a few minutes as it passes in front of the sun. Even if you're not in the path of totality, you may still see a partial eclipse depending on where you're located. (Check out this handy link to find out when the partial eclipse might happen for you.) No matter where you are or how cloudy it is, WIRED's coverage of this major event includes multiple ways for you to watch the total solar eclipse online. |
