During today’s Sonic Club Chaos 35th anniversary live-stream, SEGA announced that their collaboration with Fortnite is still to be continued. A teaser of Metal Sonic’s eyes glowing red appeared briefly at the event, revealing that the fan-favorite robot created by Dr. Eggman will be jumping from the Battle Bus and joining the Battle Royale in the near future. Sonic Movie 4 hits theaters on March 19, 2027, and considering Metal Sonic is confirmed to be involved with the story, we can likely expect the skin to release in Fortnite before then. In case you missed it, Sonic the Hedgehog is already a major part of the current Fortnite season, Chapter 7: Season 4 (Override). |
