Nintendo has announced its latest acquisition and it is Bandai Namco Studios Singapore which will be turned into Nintendo Studios Singapore. The Kyoto-based company says that it made the acquisitionfor the purpose of strengthening its development structure. Bandai Namco Studios Singapore has contributed to the development of Nintendo titles, including the Splatoon series. Nintendo plans to acquire 80% of Bandai Namco Studios Singapore shares on 1st April. The remaining shares will be acquired after a certain period, once the subsidiary's operations have stabilised.
