Excitement was mounting when the Nintendo Switch 2 version of Sonic Racing CrossWorld was announced especially as the physical release appeared to be a traditional cartridge release on Nintendo's new platform. However, that has been put into doubt today as SEGA customer support has said that Sonic Racing CrossWorld will be a Game-Key Card on Nintendo Switch 2. A SEGA customer support assistant's word obviously cannot be taken as gospel, so hopefully all will be made clear in the coming days.
